Village head organization Chakrata protested by locking at the block headquarters regarding demands. The chiefs protested against the state government and raised slogans. The head organization warned that if the demands were not met within a week, a state-wide agitation would be held. The principal organization sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Block Development Officer. In the block headquarter Chakrata, the village heads gathered and staged a dharna by locking the BDO office. The Pradhan Sangathan said that for a year on the rights and various problems of the village heads, they have been continuously demanding a solution from the government. But the government is constantly ignoring the demands of the princes. In the twelve-point demand letter sent to the Chief Minister, the organization has canceled the order of depositing twenty five hundred rupees of the Common Service to the Panchayats, to stop the huge deduction in the fifteenth finance and to keep ten percent of the amount of the fifteenth finance as before, Implementing the provisions of the 73rd Constitutional Amendment, transfer of 29 subjects to village panchayats, increasing the honorarium of village heads from fifteen hundred to ten thousand rupees per month and giving monthly pension of five thousand rupees, increasing the working days of MNREGA from one hundred days to two hundred days per day. To, to appoint JE and computer operators in panchayats, to integrate Village Development Department and Gram Panchayat Department as before, to give a fund of five lakh rupees to Gram Panchayats as the basis of MLA fund and MP fund, disaster item in Gram Panchayat To give five lakh rupees per year, to propose the work to be done by any department in the Gram Panchayat by placing it in an open meeting of the Gram Panchayat, to release the funds immediately to the selected beneficiaries under the PM Awas Yojana and to prevent the spread of corona infection.
