After three more new cases were reported in the state on Tuesday, the number of patients infected with Zika virus has now increased to 18. Kerala Health Minister Veena George said that the risk of Zika virus has increased in the state. The three patients who tested positive for Zika virus on Tuesday include a 22-month-old baby, a 46-year-old man and a 29-year-old health worker. He said that 18 cases of Zika virus have been reported so far in the state amid the threat of corona. On Tuesday, 14,539 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Kerala, after which the total number of infected people increased to 30,87,673. At the same time, after the death of 124 more patients in the last 24 hours, the death toll increased to 14,810. Health Minister Veena George said in a statement that Malapuram has the highest number of 2,115 cases. After this, 1,624 cases were reported in Ernakulam and 1,404 in Kollam. On Tuesday, 10,331 patients also became infection free, after which the total number of recovered people increased to 29,57,201. 1,15,174 patients are undergoing treatment in the state.
