Control of Mumbai International Airport now with Adani Group
Adani Airport Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises Limited, has got the management control of Mumbai International Airport Limited.
In a statement issued late last night, the Adani Group said that the GVK Group, which operates the Mumbai International Airport, has handed over the managerial control of the airport to Adani Airport Holdings Limited.
He said that the management of this airport has been entrusted to him as per the approval of Government of India, City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra and Government of Maharashtra.
The company said that Adani Airport Holdings Limited will start the construction of Navi Mumbai International Airport next month and financial arrangements will be completed for it in the next 90 days. This new international airport will be functional from the year 2024.
