Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Under the chairmanship of Sandhu, the eighth meeting of the State Level Steering Committee of the Government of Uttarakhand and Hans Foundation was held in his secretariat auditorium on Thursday. During the meeting, a detailed presentation was given by the officials of Hans Foundation on the various works being carried out by them. The Chief Secretary said that The Hans Foundation can play an important role in filling the gap in the facilities being provided by the Government to the common man. He directed the officers that all such departments which are running various schemes in collaboration with The Hans Foundation, by forming committees at the departmental level and holding meetings at regular intervals, work to fill the gaps in which the general public has so far been on behalf of the government. have not been successful in providing the facilities. He said that it should be considered before starting any new scheme in any area. There are various schemes in drinking water, health, etc., which are stalled due to minor reasons, they can be repaired by repairing or restoring them. The Chief Secretary also directed the officers to solve the problems being faced in the implementation of the schemes in front of The Hans Foundation by communicating continuously. He said that need based plans should be made. He directed the officers that the schemes should be implemented with the help of The Hans Foundation in those areas where the government is not able to provide facilities due to any reason. The Chief Secretary assured The Hans Foundation of all kinds of cooperation by the State Government in the implementation of the welfare schemes. The officials of The Hans Foundation said that various programs like Medical Mobile Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Mammography Van and Hans Bal Arogya Program are being run by the Foundation in the field of health. In the field of education, along with modernization of smart classes and 95 model schools, programs like construction of Anganwadi centers and drinking water schemes are also being conducted. He said that The Hans Foundation is ready to provide all possible help in the development of the state. On this occasion Secretary Shri Amit Negi, Shri R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Mr. Shailesh Bagoli and Mr. Sachin Kurve and other officials were present.
