Uttarakhand CM Dhami did Union Tourism Minister G. Meeting with Kishan Reddy
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami met Union Tourism Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy. The Chief Minister informed about the efforts being made by the state government for tourism development in Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the State Government is working towards developing Uttarakhand into a world-class center for tourism, pilgrimage as well as adventure sports. The Chief Minister requested for early administrative approval of the plan to develop IDPL, Rishikesh as a special tourism zone. The Chief Minister informed the Union Minister that Biodiversity Park, International Convention Center, Resort, Hotel, Wellness Center are proposed to be set up on 600 acres in IDPL Rishikesh. Expressing gratitude for the approval of Rs 55 crore for enhancing the facilities of pilgrims at Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham, the Chief Minister invited Union Tourism Minister Shri G.Kishan Reddy to visit Uttarakhand. The Union Tourism Minister said that all possible cooperation would be given by the Ministry of Tourism for the development of tourism in Uttarakhand. Union Minister of State for Tourism Shri Ajay Bhatt, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Abhinav Kumar and officials of the Ministry of Tourism were present on the occasion.
