Divisional Railway Manager of Northeast Izzatnagar Division along with departmental officers conducted annual inspection of Kashipur and Bajpur railway stations. On Thursday, Divisional Railway Manager of Northeast Izzatnagar Division Ashutosh Pant along with departmental officers inspected Kashipur Railway Junction. During this, he asked to show running water sprinkler system. During this, the departmental officers posted at the station hid. However, water sprinkling was found from the system. The DRM directed to sprinkle water from the system while descending the rake on the platform. Along with this, information was collected regarding the sealed food items and railway neer kept at the catering vendors on the platform. Senior Divisional Manager of Commercial Neetu Singh said that strict action will be taken if any passenger complains. Along with this, Chief Commercial Inspector Ajay Chaudhary was instructed to pay attention to the expiry date of the material sold at the stall. After this, the DRM inspected the ticket counter, waiting rooms. Asked to fix the parking board in the premises, get the name of the railway station rewritten after getting painted. The employee concerned was also reprimanded for not working as per the standard in the guest house under construction. At the same time, he said that Kashipur would be electrified by next year. After the lockdown, trains have started operating as before, but the number of passengers is still very less. If the number of passengers increases, then it can be thought to run a train for Ramnagar-Lucknow running in the east.
