1015 health sub-centres to be built for expansion of health facilities in Bihar: Nitish
The government has approved an expenditure of more than Rs 1,754 crore for expansion and strengthening of health facilities in Bihar. Under this, 1015 health sub-centres and 228 additional primary health centers and other buildings will be constructed. A total of 11 proposals were approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
For the expansion and strengthening of health facilities in the state, 1015 health sub-centres and 228 additional primary health centers will be constructed at an estimated expenditure of Rs.1754-99 crore.
Apart from this, in 86 blocks where community health centers have not been built, administrative approval was given for the construction of 50 community health centers to be constructed by NAHM and other works on the basis of model estimates.
He said that in the meeting, South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited and North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited to supply and install power transformers for operation of oxygen plants in all Medical College Hospitals, Sadar Hospitals and sub-divisional hospitals of the State regarding Corona. Administrative approval has been given to 26 crore 51 lakh and 27 crore 56 lakh i.e. total 54 crore 8 lakh 38 thousand 52 respectively.
In the meeting, approval was given on the draft of Bihar State University Service Commission Business Operation Rules, 2021 under the Education Department. Apart from this, approval of Junior Statistics Cadre Rules-2021 was given under Planning and Development Department (Directorate of Economics and Statistics).
