Chhattisgarh / Bilaspur : Theft of dead parts by digging graves
A strange case has come to light from the Muslim graveyard located in Ratanpur police station area of Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. It is being told that an unknown person dug a grave here and someone took out some parts of the dead body. This information came to the fore when a person living in Karaiya Para had gone to read Fatehah at his brother’s grave. His brother’s body was buried here three months ago. The brother who went to read Fateh saw that the grave had been tampered with. He went near and saw that the grave had been dug with some tool. After keeping the wooden planks in order, some parts of the dead body have been removed. There is no hair on the head of the dead body. Apart from giving this information to the officials of Muslim society, Ratanpur police station has also been given. Ratanpur police visited the spot and inspected it. Seeing this matter, the police are also shocked. According to Ratanpur police station in-charge Harvinder Singh, some parts of the body have been missing. Shroud is also found outside the grave. Police have started investigation by registering a case against unknown people.
