Petrol to new level by 30 paise, diesel stable
After a day of calm, domestic petrol prices were increased by 30 paise per liter on Saturday, taking its price to new levels in most parts of the country, including the capital Delhi, while diesel prices remained unchanged.
On Thursday, petrol reached a new record high with an increase of 35 paise per liter and diesel became costlier by 15 paise per liter.
After Saturday’s hike in Delhi, the price of petrol touched Rs 101.84 and in Mumbai it touched Rs 107.83 per liter.
According to leading oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation, petrol has been increased by 30 paise on Saturday. There has been no change in diesel prices.
Petrol and diesel prices are reviewed daily and based on that new prices are implemented every day from 6 am.
