Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Save Ganga Foundation will plant one thousand saplings every year on Harela: Deepak Talian
On the occasion of birth anniversary of Mahamandaleshwar Pilot Baba, the members of Save Ganga Foundation and the followers who came to the ashram together planted saplings in Pilot Baba Ashram premises. During the plantation done in association with Premanand Giri Maharaj alias (Master Baba), the President of Save Ganga Foundation, Deepak Talian, said that the organization has resolved to plant one thousand trees every year on the occasion of Harela festival. He said that preserving the environment is not only the duty of the government but also of every citizen. Premanand Giri Maharaj said that environment is a national heritage. For a happy and safe life, every person should contribute towards environmental protection. If every person plants a tree and protects it, then the environment can be improved. Planting one thousand trees annually by Seva Ganga Foundation will help in preserving the environment. Along with planting saplings, the officers and members of the organization will also protect them. District media in-charge ‘Rajat Bhardwaj’ said that apart from contributing to environmental protection, the organization would also work to make people aware of the environment. Appealing, he said that definitely plant a tree and take care of it. During this, Sanjeev Tibbia, Arun Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Avantika Giri, Sudarshan Giri, Surya Nand Giri, Divya Nand Giri, Rakesh, Pappu, Anil, Sunil etc. were present.
