Guldar attacked a woman and injured her in Durogi village of Hindolakhal area. The newly married woman had come to her maternal home a few days ago, at the time of the incident, the woman was returning home after transplanting from the field with her family members. In Durogi village of Hindolakhal, Guldar suddenly attacked Reena Devi (21) daughter Daulat Singh Chauhan and injured her. According to the information received, late Thursday evening, Reena Devi was returning home after planting paddy from the fields along with the women of her maternal home. Meanwhile, on the way, suddenly the Guldar hiding in the bushes attacked Reena and scratched her neck and surroundings with nails. Frightened by Guldar’s attack, Guldar ran away when the women running from behind Reena raised the noise. The bloody Reena was brought to the CHC Hindolakhal by the relatives, where after first aid, the doctors referred her to the Base Hospital, Srinagar. Reena’s condition is stated to be out of danger. Reena was married only three months ago in the nearby village of Gadakot, she had come to her maternal home these days. On information Ranger Devendra Pundir, Deputy Revenue Inspector Bhanwar Lal, Forest Department expert Sunal Roumin, Forest Inspector Yashwant Chauhan, Forest constable Rakesh Chauhan reached the spot. The incident has created panic in the entire area. Ranger said that along with camera trapping to catch the guldar, fox lights have been installed around the village. The patrolling of the forest guard team has also been started, along with the villagers have been asked to take precautions.
