Amitabh and Emraan starrer Chehre to release in August, producer confirms
Veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi have been in the news for their film Chehre. The film was scheduled to release in theaters on April 30 this year. The release date of the film was postponed due to Corona virus. There have been uncertainties regarding the release of the film for quite some time now. Now the producer of the film Anand Pandit has given important information about its release. He told that this film can be released in August.
Anand has confirmed that the film Chehre will release in the month of August. Anand said, I am sure we will be in a position to release the film to a great extent by August. We don’t even have any promotion plans yet. There is no question of visiting other cities. Doing promotional activities on social media is a new trend. Rumi Jaffrey has directed this film.
He said that he hopes that after the vaccination, the audience will show confidence in coming to the theatres. The team of the film is yet to decide the release date of the film. It is being said that keeping in mind the reopening of theaters and the current situation across the country, a new release date will be announced. Anand said that when a good number of theaters start running, more films will join the release line.
It is a mystery thriller film, in which many veteran actors will show their acting skills. Amitabh and Emraan will be seen sharing the screen for the first time in this film. Apart from Amitabh and Emraan, actors like Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhant Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Raghuveer Yadav and Annu Kapoor will also be seen in it. In the film, Amitabh will be seen in the role of a retired lawyer, while Emraan will play the role of a businessman. Popular TV actress Crystal is going to make her Bollywood debut with this film.
The film is produced by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The story of the film will be about a group of friends. Some of them are retired lawyers. They all meet at a bungalow in Shimla and play a psychological game there. The shooting of the film was completed before the lockdown and was supposed to release in April last year. Its release date was postponed even at that time due to Corona.
