Fierce accident in Pakistan, 30 killed in bus-truck collision

In Pakistan’s Punjab province, 30 passengers were killed and more than 40 people were injured in a collision between a bus and a truck. Four of the injured are in critical condition. This horrific accident happened on Tanusa Road near Dera Ghazi Khan of Muzaffargarh. Officials said that the bus was going from Sialkot to Rajanpur. During this, the bus crashed on the Indus highway near Taunsa bypass in Dera Ghazi Khan district. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
Medical workers of the hospital said that 18 people had died before reaching the hospital. Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Home Minister Sheikh Rashid expressed grief over the incident. The bus was moving at high speed. District Emergency Officer Dr. Nayyar Alam said that 75 passengers were on the bus. Most of them were laborers, who were going home for holidays on the festival of Eid.
