Uttarakhand / Dehradun : Get relief work done in the affected areas soon: Rajkumar
The Congress delegation submitted a memorandum to the administration regarding the problems of the city during the rainy season. He appealed for speedy relief work.
The delegation led by the State President of Congress Scheduled Castes Department and former MLA Rajkumar submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate through the Additional District Magistrate. Rajkumar said that the entire city has been affected by the rains. Rain water is getting accumulated in the pits made during the smart city construction work. People are getting into trouble. The banks of Rispana and Bindal and around Chhoti Bindal are under threat due to strong current. The bridges have been damaged at many places including Nalapani Road, DL Road, Aryanagar, Rajesh Rawat Colony, New Basti Chander Road, Mahatma Gandhi Basti, Neshvilla Road, New Basti Nemi Road, Teg Bahadur Road, which need to be repaired. On this occasion, Metropolitan President Lalchand Sharma, State Secretary Som Prakash Valmiki, Qamar Khan, Metropolitan General Secretary Neeraj Negi, Arun Sharma etc. were present.
