Do not make this mistake while traveling in the train, Rs 1.17 crore fine was collected from passengers in just 16 days

A limited number of trains are running during the Corona period. Traveling in long distance trains without a confirmed ticket is prohibited. Despite this, people are boarding the train without taking tickets. The railway administration has started a campaign to stop them. A fine of more than one crore rupees has been collected from ticketless passengers in Delhi division till 16th of this month. Railway officials say that the campaign will continue in the coming days as well.

With the reduction of the outbreak of corona infection, the number of special trains is being increased. Local trains are also getting back on track. With this, the number of ticketless passengers has started increasing. These days only passengers with confirmed tickets are allowed to travel in the train. Seats have to be reserved even for traveling in general class coaches of long distance trains. Earlier, only those with confirmed tickets were allowed to go on the platform, but now with the start of the sale of platform tickets and the running of some local trains, the strictness has reduced. Taking advantage of this, many people board the train without taking ticket or platform ticket.
