According to the report, a new face can play the role of Sita in the film Sita. Vijayendra told that the casting for the role of Sita has not been done yet. “We are yet to decide which actress will play the role of Sita Mata. We will announce it soon. The source added that a new face is being sought for the film as the established face will not be accepted by the audience.

A source said, “When actress Dipika Chikhlia played Sita in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, the audience was not familiar with her face. For this reason, the audience wholeheartedly accepted her as Sita. If today Deepika Padukone plays Sita in the film, the audience will be looking at Deepika, not Sita. In view of this, a new actress can get the role of Sita.

Recently there was news that the makers have approached Kareena Kapoor to play the role of Mata Sita. After this, the film’s writer Vijayendra himself called the news a rumour. There were reports that Kareena has asked the makers for a hefty fee of Rs 12 crore for this role. After this, Kareena’s protest started on social media. Recently, Supernatural had officially announced the film Sita – The Incarnation. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The script of the film has been written by Baahubali writer Vijayendra and the director is going to play Supernatural. It is said to be a big budget film. This film will be different from other Ramayana based films, as it focuses on Sita.
