Uttarakhand / Haridwar : Administration should ban the sale of meat, fish, eggs in Sawan : Mohit Chauhan

Hindu youth leader Mohit Chauhan said in a statement issued to the press that Sawan month is starting. Egg, meat, fish shops should be completely closed. The municipal administration should take action by identifying openly selling egg, meat, fish shops in urban and rural areas. Mohit Chauhan said that apart from truck union including suburban Jwalapur, egg meat shops are also operating in Jagjitpur area. Respecting the sentiments of Hindu society, the sale of meat, fish, eggs should be banned in the month of Sawan. Meat shops are open in many areas of suburban Jwalapur. People’s religious sentiments are getting hurt. There are piles of garbage in front of the shops. Due to which people also had to face inconvenience. In the month of Sawan, people of Hindu society go to the temples to offer prayers. In such a situation, the municipal administration should immediately close the meat shops. Shops should be closed throughout the month of Sawan.
