Roorkee. Before the assembly elections in Uttarakhand, the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party have started contacting the people. Aam Aadmi Party is preparing to play bets on Colonel (Retd) Ajay Kothiyal as the face of Chief Minister in Uttarakhand. AAP leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia indicated this by asking the people of the state their opinion about Colonel Kothiyal. However, no official announcement has been made yet. After attending a religious program at Roorkee’s Jeevandeep Ashram, the three chief ministers of the BJP were on target of Sisodia in a press conference at a hotel on Delhi Road. While he termed former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat and Tirath Singh Rawat as zero work CMs, he surrounded the current CM Pushkar Singh Dhami on the basis of one of his alleged old viral videos. Sisodia said that during his visit he asked the common people only one question whether a person like Col Kothiyal should be the future Chief Minister of Uttarakhand. He got a positive answer to it. Describing Colonel Kothiyal as a staunch patriot, he said that he devoted his entire life in service to the country. Said that now he is asking the same question to the entire people of Uttarakhand and the voters here. But he did not announce the name of Colonel Kothiyal. He said that he has sought public opinion. Sisodia said, people in Uttarakhand are upset due to lack of good education and health facilities. Migration, unemployment increased. Responding to a question, he said that the subject of those who revolted and joined the BJP after joining the AAP has not come up to him. So he can’t say anything on it. During this, Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, party state president SS Kler, state in-charge Dinesh Mohaniya, state spokesperson Mehak Singh Saini etc. were present.
BJP and Congress responded to AAP’s allegations
BJP and Congress responded to the allegations made by Manish Sisodia, who visited Roorkee. BJP state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chouhan said that AAP is doing politics on lies. They are doing the same thing in Uttarakhand too, but the people here are very intelligent, they know everything. On the other hand, Congress’s state spokesperson Garima Dasoni described AAP as a day-dreamer party. He said that the day has been dreamed thinking that AAP will win the election as it has already announced its CM candidate. However, people of Uttarakhand know his political gimmick and will not support him.
