Germany beat India 3-2 in a practice hockey match

The Indian men’s hockey team, awaiting the start of the Tokyo Olympics, suffered a 2-3 defeat at the hands of Germany.

The Indian team reached Tokyo four days ago and today at 12 noon according to Japan’s time, India played a warm-up match with Germany.  Mandeep Singh and Dilpreet Singh scored two goals for India to reduce the margin of defeat.
