Delhi : Now Metro and DTC buses will run with 100 percent capacity

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) has allowed Delhi Metro and DTC buses to operate at 100 percent capacity with effect from July 26 (Monday). The officials have given information about this. In view of the increasing cases of coronavirus epidemic, till now only 50 percent capacity was allowed to operate. However, restrictions have been eased with the decline in the number of cases.
Officials said on Saturday that even though the Delhi Metro is allowed to run at 100 per cent capacity, no passenger will be allowed to stand. Apart from this, it has also been decided to open cinema halls, theaters and multiplexes in the national capital with 50 per cent capacity.
Also, now 100 people will be able to attend the funeral instead of 20. Similarly, 100 people will be able to attend the marriage ceremony instead of 50. Permission has also been given to open spas in Delhi, but some rules have been fixed for this.
Now the same employees will be able to work in the spa, who have received both the doses of the Kovid-19 vaccine. Also, people visiting the spa will be given a form to fill in, through which information about their infection and COVID history (if any) will be collected. However, the Delhi government has not yet considered opening schools and colleges.
