Uttar Pradesh / Kakori : Campaign for the control of communicable diseases in Kakori area

Under the special communicable disease control campaign being run on the directions of the Uttar Pradesh government, a cleanliness drive was carried out under the leadership of village head Mamta Rawat in Majra Durgaganj, Amethia Salempur, village panchayat of Kakori block. Principal husband Vimlesh Rawat told that in front of the Kakori Kotwali complex in Durgaganj, there was a pile of garbage and dirt, which had not been cleaned for the last several years. Garbage and dirt were removed through JCB on Sunday. Due to excessive accumulation of garbage and dirt, there was a strong possibility of developing communicable diseases, which was cleaned and the work of communicable disease control was done. This is the pond on which the sports ground is proposed. Rain water also comes and fills here, due to which there will be more chances of mosquito breeding here. To prevent this, spraying of bleaching powder has been done at the waterlogged area, where there is a possibility of mosquito breeding, there will be cleaning work done on war footing. With the aim of bringing awareness and effective control about prevention of communicable diseases, dengue-malaria public awareness and cleanliness are being conducted. Under this, the focus is being made on the more vulnerable areas of the Gram Panchayat from the point of view of dengue and malaria.
ADO Panchayat in-charge Nagendra Kushwaha informed that a communicable disease control campaign is being run in the state from July 1, which will continue till July 31. Under this, various activities are being conducted in coordination with the Health Department and other related departments and voluntary organizations to prevent mosquito breeding and diseases like dengue malaria caused by them.
