Uttarakhand / Chamoli : Demonstration in Badrinath for the demand to start Chardham Yatra

For the demand to open Chardham Yatra, the business meeting, youth Mangal Dal and local people took out a rally in Badrinath and demonstrated under the leadership of the Sangharsh Samiti. In Badrinath, people took to the streets demanding to open the Badrinath Yatra by descending on the road from Saket Tirahe to Nagar Panchayat. The people involved in the protest also demanded the government to waive electricity, water bills and GST. The protesters say that when the government has opened all the tourist places for tourists, then why is there a ban on only Chardham? Said to respect the orders of the Hon’ble High Court. If the Badrinath temple is restricted to open now by the court, then leaving the temple, devotees should be allowed to reach the nearby pilgrimage places in Badrinath Dham. Rajesh Mehta, president of Badrish Sangharsh Samiti, says that about a month ago, a new guideline came from the Government of India for Kovid, in which all the places have been opened. The Valley of Flowers has also been opened for tourists. Mussoorie, Nainital have also opened for tourism. In such a situation, nearby tourist places in Badrinath should also be opened for travel. Vyapar Sabha President Vinod says that if the government does not open Badrinath and Chardham as soon as possible, then we will take out a continuous protest rally. On this occasion Vinod Dimri, Jamuna Prasad Rawani, Anshuman Bhandari, Raghav Pawar, Somesh Pawar, Satyam Rana, Kaushal Bhandari, Vipul Dimri and others were present.
