Clashes in Yemen’s Maribo, 50 killed in airstrikes

At least 50 people have been killed in clashes between government forces and Houthi rebels in Yemen’s Marib province in the past 24 hours. A government military source has given this information. Warplanes of pro-Saudi-led coalition forces launched multiple attacks on Iran-backed Houthi rebels on the front lines of al-Mashajah, al-Qasrah and Raghwan in Sirwah district, west of Marib, during the past 24 hours, the sources said.

More than 44 Houthi rebels were killed in the conflict, and seven armored vehicles of the rebels were bombed during artillery shelling and coalition air strikes, he said.

Sources said that during this six soldiers were also killed and many were injured.
Saudi air defense systems fired four bombs and intercepted a ballistic missile by Houthi rebels toward the Saudi Red Sea port city of Jazan late Saturday.

The Houthi rebels have yet to comment on this.
