Five Taliban terrorists killed in Afghanistan, top commander injured

Five Taliban militants were killed and a prominent commander, Mufti Ismail, was injured in a landmine blast in Afghanistan’s northern Faryab province.
The police gave this information today.
Faryab police said in a statement, “Taliban chief commander Mufti Ismail, while returning after attending a meeting with Taliban commanders in Shirin Tagab district this afternoon, his car was hit by a landmine explosion in which five terrorists were killed and he was seriously injured.
Taliban militants have captured all seven districts of Faryab province and are also pressing for the capture of Mamna, the provincial capital, located 425 km northwest of Kabul.
The terrorist group has yet to comment on today’s incident.
