Himachal Pradesh / Una : Rural Development Minister Virendra Kanwar paid floral tributes to the martyrs on Vijay Diwas

Sixth State Finance Commission Satpal Satti also paid tribute at the martyr’s memorial
On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, district level program was organized at Una’s Shaheed Smarak today and tributes were paid to the martyrs who made supreme sacrifice for the country.
During the program Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Fisheries and Animal Husbandry Minister Virendra Kanwar, 6th State Finance Commission Chairman Satpal Singh Satti, District BJP President Manohar Lal Sharma, Zip Vice President KP Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Amit Kumar Sharma, Col MB Officers and ex-servicemen of various departments including Wankhede paid tribute at the martyr’s memorial.
On this occasion, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Virendra Kanwar said that today is a proud day in the history of the country. Today we are saluting the indomitable courage and valor of the Indian Army, due to which the Indian Army defeated the Pakistan Army in Kargil. He said that today is the day to bow to all the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country, due to which we are all safe in our respective homes.
On this occasion an oath was also administered on the integrity and unity of the country. The program was attended by Assistant Commissioner Gaurav Chaudhary, SP Arjit Sen Thakur, CMO Dr. Raman Kumar Sharma, BJP General Secretary Rajkumar Pathania, Vinay Sharma, Himotkarsh Parishad President Jatinder Kanwar, former Air Force Service Council District President Baldev Dogra, Ex Service Man League President Captain Shakti Chand, Rajendra Sharma of Ex-Navy Sainik Union, Colonel Satdev Singh, Harish Chandra Sharma, Major Raghveer Singh, OC Sharma and other dignitaries were present.
