Rahul Gandhi reached Vijay Chowk by tractor, campaign in support of farmers’ movement
In support of Farmers Protest, the opposition party Congress is constantly trying to surround the government from Parliament to the road. The Congress is not missing any opportunity to show its support to the farmers. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi reached Vijay Chowk on Monday by tractor. After this, Congress’s media in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala and other leaders were taken into custody by Delhi Police. Wearing pants shirt, Rahul Gandhi was driving the tractor, while many Congress leaders were sitting on the tractor carrying placards with him. In his hands were placards supporting the peasant movement and demanding the withdrawal of agricultural laws.
Rahul Gandhi said that the government is saying that the farmers are happy and the farmers sitting on the dharna are being called terrorists and do not know what is going where. But the reality is that the rights of farmers are being snatched away. Rahul said, I have brought the message of farmers. They are trying to suppress the voice of farmers and are not allowing these issues to be debated in Parliament. They have to withdraw these three agricultural laws.
The whole country knows that only 2-3 industrialists will benefit from these agricultural laws. Significantly, the monsoon session of Parliament is going on, where the opposition is constantly trying to surround the government on the issue of agricultural laws, inflation and Pegasus espionage. In the first week of the monsoon session, the work could not be done due to continuous uproar.
