Uttarakhand / Vikas Nagar : MLA Pundir paid tribute to the martyred soldiers on Vijay Diwas

MLA Sahdev Singh Pundir also participated as the chief guest in the Kargil Day program organized at Shaheed Memorial on Monday morning. He paid homage to the martyred soldiers of the country by laying a wreath at the martyr’s memorial. During this, he also expressed his views on Kargil War and Vijay Diwas. Said that today we are able to breathe in the open air only because of those martyred brave soldiers. The brave soldiers of the Indian Army are protecting the countrymen day and night by guarding the border. He also told the people present to always respect the soldiers. Rajendra Prasad Baluni, Sen. Col US Thakur, DC Bisht, Veer Singh Rawat, LB Thapa, Paras Thapa, Vinod Thapa, SP Goud, Kundan Singh Bisht, Rajesh Chauhan, Hari Thapa, Sukhdev Singh Farswan, Shoorveer Singh Chauhan etc. were present. On the other hand, Kargil (Victory Day) was celebrated on behalf of the Purva Janajagruti Samiti in Rajawala. The committee officials paid homage to the brave martyrs of the country and paid tribute to them. On behalf of the committee, Bhagwan Singh Thapa, father of martyr Sandeep Thapa, Hira Devi, wife of martyr Harish Thapa and Mamta Devi, wife of martyr Narpal Singh were honored by presenting shawls. Yashpal Singh Negi, Shishupal Singh, Vijay Aggarwal, Khemlata Negi, Ramesh Chand etc. were present on this occasion.
