Rajasthan / Kota : 1113 crores will be spent on development works in Kota

In Rajasthan, Kota City Development Trust will spend Rs 1113.83 crore on various development works of the city in this financial year. According to the decision taken in the meeting of the Trust Board held under the chairmanship of the Trust President and District Collector late last evening, maximum Rs.63457.37 lakh will be spent in the planning area while Rs.6898 lakh will be spent on housing construction schemes. In the financial year 2021-22, an income target of Rs 1157.70 crore has been proposed, which is Rs 1.87 crore more than the proposed expenditure.
The amount to be spent in this year’s proposed budget is Rs 165 crore more than the previous budget. Although in the last financial year, the trust had set an income of Rs 959.71 crore, but during the corona transition period, this income was less by Rs 329.08 crore and earned Rs 630.63 crore as compared to the target. However, during this period, under the instructions of Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal, huge amount is being spent on development works in Kota city under various government schemes.
