I want to play a track athlete: Adarsh Gaurav
Actor Adarsh Gaurav says his dream is to play a track athlete. Talking about the same Adarsh said, I want to play the role of a track athlete. I used to be a track athlete in school, but not great. So I want to play the role of a great track athlete and live my unfulfilled dream through cinema.
Adarsh achieved global recognition earlier this year with his performance in the film The White Tiger, including a nomination at the 74th British Academy of Films and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards.
He said that life has largely remained the same. The number of opportunities I am getting, yes, definitely has increased more than what I was getting before The White Tiger. I find myself getting so much more auditioning, and talking to writers and filmmakers that makes me happy.
Talking about the kind of roles he wants to do next, Adarsh said that nothing special. I want to do lots of experiments, find unique stories and individuals, and tell stories that captivate me.
On the work front, Adarsh is all set for the release of his upcoming project, the second season of the popular web series Hostel Days, where he plays a college student.
Talking about his character in the show, Adarsh said, Ankit Pandey is a student of civil engineering and he is in his second year in season 2. He is cute, sweet. He didn’t have much. Growing up, he values friends and the friendships he has built over the years in college. The actor said that he never stayed in a hostel in real life. He said, I am not in real life, but yes I have been in a hostel through two seasons of Hostel Days. Hostel Days Season 2 released on 23 July on Amazon Prime Video.
