Attention going abroad, ban on international flights extended till August 31
Due to the Corona epidemic, the ban on scheduled international flights has been extended till 31 August. Today, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in a statement said that the ban on international commercial passenger flights will remain in force till August 31, 2021. This ban will not apply to international cargo flights and those flights that have been permitted by the DGCA. International commercial passenger flights have been suspended since the lockdown came into force last year across the country, but since May 2020, special international flights are flying under the Vande Bharat Mission.
Vande Bharat Mission was run to bring back the stranded passengers and air bubble agreement was also done with many countries. Earlier this ban was imposed till July 31, which was ending on Saturday itself. The number of Kovid cases has increased in the last few days. In view of this, the government has extended this ban till August 31. The movement of international flights in India was stopped since the lockdown was imposed last year. Since then, the government has banned flights several times.
