Uttarakhand / Bageshwar : Achieve the target of COVID vaccination by 7th August: CMO

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunita Tamta has given instructions to achieve the target of COVID vaccination in the district by August 7. He instructed to pay attention to the cleanliness of each hospital and to provide medicines to every person from the hospital itself. Taking the meeting of the health center in-charge of the district, the CMO said that till now important work has been done in the work of vaccination in the district. Said that all the officers and employees together should try to complete the target by August 7. Said that efforts should be made together to ensure that no one remains in the district without COVID vaccination. Said that every health worker should always be ready to provide health facilities to the public and arrangements should be made for doli to transport patients to remote areas. He directed to provide separate data of children from 0 to 18 and below 12 years in the district. Also asked to put the necessary equipment in the ambulance. After the meeting, the CMO visited the District Hospital and the Community Health Center at Kapkot and gave instructions for cleanliness there. He said that to deal with any disease including disaster in the hospitals, there should be medicines and necessary equipment in the emergency room at all times so that the public does not have to face trouble. He asked the patients to make every medicine available from the hospital itself. Dr. Rakesh Gunjyal, Dr. Virendra Rawat, Dr. Harish Pokharia etc. were present in the meeting.
