Vidyut Jammwal’s debut production film will be titled IB 71
Actor Vidyut Jammwal founded his production company Action Hero Films in April. Now Vidyut has announced the first film to be made under the banner of his production company. Vidyut will collaborate with Reliance Entertainment and T-Series to produce a spy thriller film titled IB 71. He is also going to appear in the lead role in this film. Director Sankalp Reddy, who won the National Award for Ghazi, will direct the film.
This will be Vidyut’s first film as a producer. According to the report, the film will be based on the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. In this film, Vidyut will be seen as an intelligence officer, who will be seen helping the Indian Army to get an edge over the enemies. Abbas Sayyed will co-produce the film. At the same time, the story of the film has been written by Aditya Shastri. The film will be scripted courtesy of Storyhouse Films.
Vidyut has shared the information of the film on his official social media handle. He has expressed his happiness on social media while announcing the film. In his statement, he said, some of the most interesting episodes in Indian history have inspired IB 71. I have full faith in Sankalp’s vision as a filmmaker and working with Reliance Entertainment will be an amazing journey.
According to reports, the shooting of this thriller film is expected to start by the end of the year. At present, no detailed information has been revealed about the cast of the film. Shibasish Sarkar of Reliance Entertainment said that Indian cinema has not focused much on the subject. Reliance Group CEO said, “We hope to present a glimpse of history and a good content of thriller to the audience.
Talking about Vidyut’s workfront, he has recently collaborated with American talent management agency Wonder Street. Now he can make his presence felt in Hollywood projects. Recently Alia Bhatt signed the famous talent agency William Morris Endeavor. Vidyut will be seen in Khuda Hafiz 2 in the coming days. Apart from this, he will also be seen in the film Sanak. He made his debut with the 2011 film Force.
