Madhya Pradesh / Rewa : Four members of same family killed, one injured due to house collapse

Four members of a family were killed and another injured when a kutcha house collapsed in Garh police station area of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh early today, who has been rushed to a nearby hospital. The incident happened due to heavy rain.

Superintendent of Police Rakesh Kumar Singh said that a kutcha house in Bahera Segran village of Garh police station area suddenly collapsed due to heavy rain, due to which five members of the same family sleeping in the house were buried under the debris. Four people died in the accident, while one was rescued in an injured condition, who has been admitted to a nearby hospital. After the incident, district administration and police officials have reached the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Kemli Pandey (60), her son Manoj (35) and two girls Kajal (08) and Aanchal (07), while another boy Shrejal was pulled from the rubble in a critical condition and was brought to a nearby place. Gangev has been admitted to Community Health Center.
