Uttarakhand / Haridwar : 116 players participated in under-16 cricket, 44 selected
According to the instructions of the BCCI and Cricket Association of Uttarakhand, the Cricket Association of Haridwar has selected 44 players in the Under-16s of different blocks of Haridwar. For the selection of players, trials were organized at Prakash Sports Academy, Jwalapur on 30 and 31 July. In which 116 players participated. The role of selectors was played by former Ranji player and BCCI Level One coach and former public sector senior player C Mohan. The selected players include batsmen Daksh Arora, Manthan Kumar, Arun Ahlawat, Ojas Pandey, Raja, Arjun Chaudhary, Naman Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Aditya Rohela, Akshat Negi, Daksha Awana, Adarsh Goyal, Arya Rathi, Sumit, Jishan Mohammad, Shivam Sharma, Navel Gufran, Harsh Singh, Harshit Arora, Gaurav Dhiman, Yash Agrohi, wicketkeeper Lavish Sharma, Tanmay Gautam, Deepanshu Saini, Sujal Singh Aswal, medium pacer Mohammad Uzer, Krishna Kumar Singh, Akshit Rawat, Shahenshah Alam, Ayush Awasthi, Jai Kumar, Abuzar Ali, Yuvraj Singh, Ripunjay Vats, Spinner Gaurav Yadav, Himanshu Kaushik, Hamza, Dhruv, Mohammad Kaif, Hrithik Duhoon, Anshuman Chauhan, Shrestha Tomar, T.Binaka Samarth etc. are included. Cricket Association of Haridwar President Neeraj Kumar and Secretary Indermohan Barthwal told that the selected players will go to Dehradun for Garhwal Mandal Trial. The date of the trial will be informed to the players later.
Under 23 and senior players registration from 3 to 5 August.
According to the instructions of BCCI and Cricket Association of Uttarakhand, under the aegis of Cricket Association of Haridwar, the registration of players for the trials of Under 23 and Senior players of district Haridwar will be done from August 3 to 5. Giving information, Indermohan Barthwal, Secretary, Cricket Association of Haridwar said that the trials of under-23 and senior players of the district are to be organized. Interested players will have to register to participate in the trial. Registration will be done from 3rd to 5th August at Fun and Food Restaurant Haridwar located at Ranipur More. Interested players should bring the original and photocopy of the required form and photo. Registration will be done from 10 am to 5 pm.
