Amazing sportsmanship presented in high jump

Both the players, who emerged winners in the high jump finals of athletics events at the Tokyo Olympics, set such a wonderful example of sportsmanship that both the listeners and the spectators were astonished.
In the high jump finals, 30-year-old Barshim and 29-year-old Tembri finished the match with 2.37m jumps. Both tried to jump 2.39 meters but both failed. At this height, both Barshim and Tembri made three attempts each and failed in all three. On this, the Olympic official told both about the jump off and said that the one who wins in it will take the gold medal. But during this time Barshim asked if both of them could get gold. The officer agreed to this. It was too late to happen that both the players hugged and without any conversation it was decided that the medal would be shared.
