Skoda Auto starts the delivery of Kushak
Passenger vehicle maker Skoda Auto India today started delivering the newly launched 1.5 liter TSI powered compact SUV Kushk to its customers. The new Kushak, which was launched on June 28, 2021, has received an overwhelming response from the customers, the company said in a statement issued here. The 1.5L TSI powered Kushk will now be available for test-drive and sale across all Skoda Auto showrooms across India.
It is powered by the most powerful and efficient 1.5L TSI engine from Volkswagen Group’s globally acclaimed latest generation EVO series, which is equipped with Active Cylinder Technology (ACT) for the first time in its segment. The ACT automatically shuts down the two cylinders when the engine load is low, which increases its fuel efficiency. All the cylinder-blocks of this four-cylinder engine have been coated with plasma.
Apart from the 6-speed manual gearbox, the engine can also be mated to a 7-speed DSG, which is offered with paddle shifters. The gear ratios make this vehicle sporty and comfortable, while also offering the highest mileage in this category. The Kushak gives a mileage of 17.95 kmpl for the manual transmission and 17.71 kmpl for the automatic variant.
