Twitter India Managing Director Maheshwari transfers to US
Microblogging and social networking service Twitter has shifted the company’s managing director in India, Manish Maheshwari, to the US. A Twitter spokesperson confirmed the transfer of Manish Maheshwari, the company’s managing director in India, to the US.
According to the report, Maheshwari will be seen in a new role at Twitter and will work on new market entry as Senior Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations in San Francisco.
Twitter Vice President U Sasamoto wrote on Twitter, “Thank you Maheshwari for leading our Indian business over the past two years. Congratulations on your new role in the US-based US-based in charge of revenue strategy and operations for new markets around the world. Excited to see you lead this momentous occasion for Twitter.
The social media platform is currently in turmoil over the “temporary” blocking of accounts of their leaders by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress.
