COVID curfew extended till August 24 in the state. During this, all the rules will remain in force as before, the exemptions that have been given will continue, the same night curfew orders will still continue. At present, the cases of corona infection are less in Uttarakhand and the rate of cases has also slowed down. Despite this, the government does not want to take any kind of risk and in view of the possibility of a third wave, the Uttarakhand government has extended the COVID curfew for a week. The Uttarakhand government is taking strict action regarding night movement, this time the problems of vehicles traveling at night in Uttarakhand may increase.
In COVID curfew, the government has given relief in almost all areas. Persons coming from other states are exempted from the requirement of negative report of corona test, who have received both doses of corona vaccine 15 days before arrival and who do not have certificate of COVID vaccination, corona test for them. Negative report is mandatory.
