Uttarakhand / Rudraprayag : Car fell into the ditch, one killed and the other injured
One person was killed and another was injured in a car accident on Tilwara-Bawai motor road. DDRF, SDRF and police reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. The injured were rushed to the hospital by quick rescue, while the body of the deceased was also removed from the ditch. The car was going from Chamiala to Pokhri. According to the information, at around 10 am on Tuesday, a car in the helm of the front of the Tilwara-Bawai motorway got uncontrolled and fell into a deep gorge. Due to the presence of boulders and pine trees in the ditch, the car got stuck while rolling down about 70 meters. District Disaster Management Officer NS Rajwar said that 40-year-old Umed Singh Negi son of late Jaspal Singh resident Tonji Pokhari died on the spot in the incident. While 42-year-old Jitendra Singh Bhandari son Gajendra Singh Bhandari resident Jaurasi Pokhari was injured. Told that as soon as the information of the incident was received, DDRF, SDRF and police team under the leadership of Inspector Anirudh Bhandari reached the spot. The team took the injured person out of the ditch and took him to the hospital, while the dead body was sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. Here, the incident caused a wave of mourning in the area. The rescue team included Sub Inspector Karan Singh, Head Constable Ashish Dimri, Harish Bangari, Constable Pradeep Singh, Deepak Kumar, Pawan, Subhash, Ajay Bisht, Vikas Gunsai, Amrit, Vipin Raturi, Neeraj etc.
