Uttarakhand : 15 players leave for two-day State Karate Championship

Rishikesh :15 Karate players from Rishikesh will participate in the two-day Uttarakhand State Karate Championship at Dehradun from August 28. On Friday, these players were sent for the championship by wearing flower garlands. On Friday, the Complete Health and Martial Arts Academy organized a program at Inshape Karate Hall, Tilakrod. Lalit Mohan Mishra, president of the city trade board, chief guest, garlanded 15 karate players and sent them to the state karate championship. Academy’s coach and general secretary Rajendra Gupta informed that the 18th Uttarakhand State State Karate Championship is to be held on August 28 and 29 at PRD Ground Tapovan Road, Dehradun. In which 15 players from Rishikesh will participate. The first place winner in this competition will be selected for the national competition. There are different categories in the competition. In which Ujjwal Dabral, Karthik Pal, Krishna Jatav, Divanshu Singh in 15 years category, Sujal Bhardwaj, Shreyansh Joshi in 17 years category, Divyanshu Rawat, Pranay Rawat in 18 years category, Kunal in 19 years category, Rohit Joshi in 21 years category, Akash Uniyal, Abhishek Negi in 22 years category, Monika in 24 years girls category. Former Principal of Shri Bharat Mandir Inter College DBS Rawat, social worker Dr. Raj Negi, Councilor Rajendra Bisht, Ranjan Anthwal, Gaurav Arora, team coach Vardan Verma, Sumit Kumar etc. were present on the occasion.
