Devbhoomi Udyog Vyapar Mandal has become vocal on the deteriorating traffic system of the city. The traders have demanded the administration to take effective steps immediately. He warned of agitation if the traffic system was not correct within seven days. On Friday, a delegation of office bearers of Devbhoomi Udyog Vyapar Mandal submitted a memorandum to the SSP regarding the traffic system of the city. It was said in the memorandum that the traffic system in Almora has become completely bad. Especially from LRSah Road to Jakhandevi, Shikhar Tiraha, Cantt Road, Dharanaula where vehicles are parked on both sides of the road. Due to this, the situation of jam persists every day. On the other hand, if other accidents occur, then the poor traffic system can also create a big problem in the relief and rescue work. Apart from this, he expressed deep anger at the increasing thefts in the city. It is a matter of concern that the thefts are yet to be unearthed, he said. District President Manoj Verma, City President Deepesh Joshi, Yusuf Tiwari, Mangal Singh Bisht, Deepak Bhatt, Dinesh Joshi, Rajendra Prasad, Kiran Pant, Sneha Chauhan etc. were present among those who submitted the memorandum here.
