Veteran Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vigyanand Saraswati Maharaj, Supreme President of Shri Geeta Vigyan Ashram, has said that trees are the source of life. Those who supply oxygen in human life, protect human life by adorning Mother Earth with trees. While planting trees in Hanuman Mandir Gaushala, Raja Garden, he said that sunlight and shade of Peepal and Vat trees are necessary for milch animals. Which emits oxygen for 24 hours. Describing tree plantation as necessary for every person, he said that every person should plant at least 2 trees every year and nurture them. Earlier, while giving information about the daily activities of his Vrindavan stay, he said that he has also started intensive plantation in Vrindavan Mathura road with the help of an organization. In which the cooperation of devotees is also being received. Reiterating his resolve to make every religious place and pilgrimage sites green in India, he said that he would soon start tree plantation program in Ayodhya and Kashi with the help of his devotees. Giving information about his future plans, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Vigyanand Saraswati Maharaj said that he would make the life-giving nature of Mother India meaningful by running a tree plantation campaign in every Chaturmas. On this occasion, saints and students from the hermitage were present along with devotees from Punjab, Haryana and Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
