Schools are going to open once again after the corona virus lockdown in Delhi. Under this, schools will be opened for students of 9th to 12th from September 1. After the decision, now the Directorate of Education has also issued guidelines for the prevention of corona in schools as a precaution. According to the Directorate of Education, students will not be allowed to share tiffins, books and stationery with anyone.
At the same time, the school will have to prepare a quarantine room in the campus to deal with emergency situations. Schools are opening in Delhi from September 1, but schools will be able to call students to school only after the written consent of the parents. The directorate has also issued instructions for the guardians, saying that even if anyone in the house has symptoms of corona, do not send the children to school. Along with this, such children have also been forbidden to send to school, who are suffering from serious illness.
After the corona virus lockdown, now the school will play an important role in running the school again. The plan will be made in the meeting of the Management Committee with the schools. According to the information, the schools have been mainly asked to hold meetings as necessary. In this meeting, the corona protocol and plan will be reviewed from time to time.
According to the guidelines issued by the Directorate of Education, school heads will have to plan according to the capacity of the classrooms and laboratory, ensuring compliance with the corona rules. Under this, the Directorate of Education has advised the school heads to accommodate only 50 percent of the students in a class. During this, the rules of social distance will be ensured to be followed.
At the same time, the Directorate of Education has asked to ensure the arrangement of adequate wash basins for washing hands in the school premises. The directorate has asked to organize the school timings and lunch break schedule separately to avoid the crowd. Along with this, the directorate has asked the school heads to regularly sanitize the school premises as well as make arrangements for thermal screening at the gate. The Delhi government has directed private aided and unaided schools to vaccinate their teachers and staff before the reopening of schools for classes IX to XII from September 1.
