Platform to control drone traffic

GPS will be monitored
The central government had released the new drone policy. Through which drone operations have been made easy. Now only drones will be visible in the sky. But due to drones, the traffic in the sky will also increase. In such a situation, drones can also collide with each other. What is the government’s plan for this? For example, the way the air traffic control (ATC) is responsible for the traffic of aircraft. Similarly, Sky will be the digital platform for drones which will see its work.
The Sky Digital platform will decide the route of the drone. Permission will have to be taken for this, which will be approved with immediate effect. Different routes will be given for different drones and they will be allowed to fly on the same route. But if the drone goes astray, it will be informed about it by sending a message and then it will have to fly back on the fixed route. For this GPS system will be used. According to the information received, the Sky Digital platform will be ready in the next 30 days. At the same time, an anti-drone system is also being prepared for the elimination of enemy drones. The Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Home Affairs and BSF are working together to prepare this system.
Drones will fly in the Green Zone
According to the Drone Rules 2021, the drone can fly up to a height of 400 feet in the green zone. Permission will have to be taken for this. According to the new rule, easy procedure has also been prescribed for transfer and cancellation of registration of drones. The rules state that no pilot license will be required for micro drones (for non-commercial use) and nano drones.
