Welcoming the saints, Kothari Mahant Jaswinder Singh Maharaj said that some people tried to malign the great Guru traditions of the Akhara under a conspiracy. But his wishes were not fulfilled. He said that the truth can never be lied to. The saints, who were separated from the arena due to the misinformation of the opponents, are continuously returning to the arena after the truth is exposed. The saints who came from Punjab have taken a pledge to propagate Dharma by expressing their faith in Nirmal Akhara and Akhara President Shri Mahant Gyandev Singh. All the saints will unite and strengthen the traditions of the arena while contributing to the service of religion and human welfare. Mahant Baba Devendra Singh Maharaj said that the saints who were separated from the Akhara due to ignorance due to the confusion being spread about the Akhara have returned after realizing the mistake. On knowing the truth, forgetting all the differences, all the saints will contribute to the promotion of Sanatan culture and religion according to the traditions of Nirmal Akhara under the leadership of Shri Mahant Gyandev Singh. He said that efforts to tarnish the image of the Akhara would never be allowed to succeed. The saints who returned to the akhara included Mahant Baba Harbeant Singh, Mahant Sukhdev Singh Sidhana, Mahant Waheguru Singh, Mahant Satpal Singh, Mahant Bupar Singh, Mahant Gaura Singh, Bhai Raghuveer Singh, Bhai Harjinder Singh, Baba Gulab Singh etc. Mahant Sukhjit Singh, Mahant Parminder Singh, Mahant Avtar Singh, Mahant Hardev Singh, Baba Jagmohan Singh, Baba Sandeep Singh, Sant Sukhpreet Singh, Baba Paramjit Singh Dhuri, Giani Balwinder Singh etc. also welcomed all the saints.

Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
