Prahlad, who reached Pakistan 23 years ago, returned to his homeland, brother said – he was tortured so much, could not even speak
Pralhad Singh, a resident of Ghosi Patti village of Gourjhamar in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, was mentally ill and had accidentally reached Pakistan 23 years ago. He is reaching India through the Attari-Wagah border. Pralhad Rajput, who was sentenced to 23 years in Pakistan, was released today through the Attari-Wagah border. He was brought to India via the International Attari border. Prahlad Singh Rajput, a resident of Ghosi Patti village of Gourjhamar in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh, was then 33 years old. He suddenly went missing from home. His mental condition was also not good. The relatives lodged a missing report with the police, but many searches were not reported.
In 2014, the police got information that a person named Prahlad Singh was lodged in a Pakistani jail. The police informed the relatives about this. Now Pralhad Singh Rajput is 56 years old. Police and relatives do not know how Prahlad Singh reached Pakistan. After 23 years, today Prahad Rajput returned to his homeland. About 23 years ago, he had gone to the border of Pakistan by mistake and after his sudden disappearance, the family members of Pralhad lodged a complaint with the police but nothing was found.
In 2014, his family came to know that Prahlad is currently lodged in a Pakistani jail and today, after 23 years, Prahlad was released after completing his sentence. According to the family, Prahlad is under mental stress. He has been wreaked havoc in a Pakistani jail. He is unable to tell anything, but he is happy that after 23 years he has been able to meet his brother.
Prahlad’s brother Vir Singh Rajput told that his brother’s mental condition was not good. He went missing. Later it was found that he is in a Pakistani jail. There he was tortured a lot. Earlier he could speak properly, now he is unable to speak. Protocol officer Arun Pal says that after about 23 years, Prahlad has been released from Pakistan jail and sent to India via Attari-Wagah border and his brother and some relatives had reached there to pick up Prahlad.
