Now, as the elections are approaching, talks of strong land laws are being made. A former CM of the BJP government has inflicted a deep wound on the mountain by amending the land law in 2018. In such a situation, the limit of purchase of agricultural land should be re-fixed. Laws relating to land use change should be made more stringent.
