Swami Anand Swaroop Maharaj, the supreme head of Shambhavi Dham, has demanded from the state government to ban the entry of non-Hindus by declaring the Himalayas as a Hindu pilgrimage site. Talking to reporters, Swami Anand Swaroop Maharaj said that the government should issue an ordinance as soon as possible to declare the Himalayas as a pilgrimage area and ban the entry of non-Hindus into the Himalayan region. If the government does not do this, then the BJP will be opposed in the assembly elections. He also demanded to start the Chardham Yatra at the earliest. Talking to reporters, Swami Anand Swaroop Maharaj said that the Himalayas are the spiritual capital of the country and the spiritual capital of the Hindus. The increasing activities of non-Hindus in the Himalayas is worrying. Therefore, the government should ban the entry of non-Hindus by declaring the entire Himalayan region as a pilgrimage. Sant Samaj should also unite and raise their voice in this regard. There should also be a complete ban on conversion in Devbhoomi. He said that he has been raising his voice for a long time to declare the Himalayas as a pilgrimage. He raised this demand in the recently concluded Kumbh Mela. The government should take a decision as soon as possible according to the Hindu public sentiments. He said that Chardham Yatra should also be conducted soon. Chardham Yatra is also a means of livelihood for millions of people along with the theme of the faith of Hindus. In a democratic country, Hindus are not able to see their adoration. While there is a lot of crowd in the election rallies. But the Chardham Yatra was stopped in the name of Corona. The government should effectively lobby the court to conduct the Chardham Yatra.
