In Khania village adjoining the city, there has been a terror of female Guldar for a long time. Guldar is seen roaming fearlessly with her cubs. Not only this, the villagers have also been attacked by Guldar. The villagers have demanded the forest department to set up a cage here. For a long time in village Khania, the villagers of Guldar are in awe. Villagers say that more than one Guldar has built a den around the village. Presumably the female is the guldar and her cubs. Apart from the night, the Guldars are seen roaming freely even during the day. Guldar has killed many cattle of the villagers. According to village head Priya and former head Rajendra Singh Bisht, a woman working in the fields in Guldar East was attacked in broad daylight, another villager has also been attacked. Fortunately, a big accident was averted. He has warned of agitation, demanding early relief from the terror of Guldar. Here, Forest Officer Harish Tamta said that permission is being taken from the DFO to set up a cage in the village.
