Himachal Pradesh : State Single Window Approval and Monitoring Authority approves proposals for investment of Rs.947.47 crore

The 19th meeting of the State Single Window Approval and Monitoring Authority was held here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur. Eight project proposals for setting up new industrial enterprises and expansion of existing units were approved in the meeting. An investment of about Rs.947.47 crore is proposed on these proposals and about 4442 persons will get employment opportunities. This shows that despite the economic slowdown, the state continues to attract investment.

The Authority has approved M/s ITC Ltd., Manpura, Tehsil Baddi, District Solan, for the manufacture of tablets, capsules, dry syrups, dry injections, oral liquids, etc. , Baddi, Distt. Solan, M/s Indorama Industries Ltd. for Manufacture of Spandex Yarn, Lodhimajra, Baddi, Distt. Solan, M/s Innovative Tech Pack Ltd. for Manufacture of PET Bottle and Jar, Industrial Area Devney, Baddi, Distt. Solan, Vial Ampoule Injection For the manufacture of M/s B.E. Approved the expansion proposals of Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, Nihalgarh, Tehsil Paonta Sahib, District Sirmaur.

The Chief Minister said that the preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony would be expedited so that it could be organized soon.

Welcoming the Chief Minister, Industries Minister Bikram Thakur directed the officers to expedite the various proposals of the industrialists so that the units could be set up at the earliest.

Director Industries Rakesh Prajapati conducted the meeting.

Additional Chief Secretary Industries R.D. Dhiman, Principal Secretary Onkar Chand Sharma, Special Secretary Excise and Taxation Nivedita Negi and other senior officers of the State Government were present in the meeting.
